The Anacortes School Board is committed to open and transparent governance of our school district.
Attending board meetings:
The school board meets in the Anacortes High School Library - 1600 20th Street, unless otherwise noted (site visits are at specified schools).
Pre-registration is optional, but helps us plan ahead for seating: School Board Pre-Registration Form
The Evening Business Meetings will be broadcast via zoom; other meetings will not be broadcast. All board meetings are open to the public.
Do not attend in person if you are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19.
Public comment is welcome during the evening business meeting for in-person attendees. Public comment is limited to 3 minutes per speaker. The board does not typically respond to the comments during the meeting, but will follow up as necessary.

During the meeting, board/ staff do not engage in dialogue with remote and/or in-person meeting guests and are not able to answer questions (other than technical support) posed in remote chat sessions.
